FP7 projects- Keeping a laboratory notebook C.Prado

As in FP6 and FP5, foreground resulting from a FP7 project belongs to that participant which generated it.
In order to be able to prove ownership (as well as the date of generation) of foreground, it is strongly recommended that all participants maintain documents showing the development of the generation of knowledge or results, e.g. laboratory notebooks (*), in accordance with proper standards. This may help avoid or resolve disputes between participants about the origin of certain results and any attached IPR.

Marie Curie Actions- Inspiring Researchers EC- DG RTD

The new publication 'Marie Curie Actions - Inspiring Researchers ' presents stories of passionate researchers shaping your world. It also shows how effective policies were behind their achievements and research excellence.

The Marie Curie Actions are widely recognised as a shining example of what European funding can do for researchers. Their prestigious mobility fellowships have helped to change the R&D human resources landscape in Europe, giving tens of thousands of excellent researchers the opportunity to build new knowledge and expertise within the best research groups.

They also promote better, more stable careers by offering researchers employment contracts with full social security rights, instead of traditional stipends.

You will find the PDF file here.
To order paper copies of the book please visit this page. Orders should be made before 22 February 2010, if possible.
